NERFA Music Conference, Kerhonkson, NY

Had a great time at Nerfa. The drive was very enjoyable also. Hung out with some of our Canadian friends and made some new American friends. These are a few of the shots I took over the weekend.

Harrison Kennedy at the OCFF "Toronto Blues Society" Sponsored Showcase

I had the pleasure of catching Harrison Kennedy's "Toronto Blues Society" sponsored showcase at the OCFF. He is one of my favorites. I have seen him perform quite a few times now, singing and playing his old "Stella" acoustic guitar. This time was different though, he was playing an "octave mandolin" tuned in open G. It was a great performance. Thanks Harrison and Derek and the TBS.

Johnny Johnson, Toronto's most versatile woodwind player

Johnny Johnson is a very versatile woodwind player and a natural musician. He palys all the saxophones from soprano to baritone, he is also proficient on piccolo, flute, alto flute, clarinet and harmonica.
John's versatility on all of these instruments has allowed him the opportunity to play with such diverse performers as Molly Johnson, Holly Cole, Diana Krall, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack, Peabo Bryson etc... etc..........
